Been trying to find info on bargate for this year for some time. Emailed people who advertised it last year but nothing back.

It's a great show parked up on the cobbled streets. Keith from the wheelers said it's on the 10th Aug, they are meeting in hedge end, so perhaps all convoy together.

The drawback is it's on the same day as beach buggin. :(

Decisions decisions.....

Hi Paul, have you seen and advertisements in the area for this?
Only heard about it today.

sorry beachbuggin for us as closer to home especially if its raining

Bargate for me.....Too many VW's for my liking so with something else on I'm jumping ship :)

We will be entering under the umbrella of Victory Wheelers, there are at least 5 spaces free. The Wheelers are leaving Marks & Spencer car park in Hedge end at 8.15am.
We could have entered as a club, however couldn't get an replies back from the organisers who I gave the entry list to last year. :( sorry guys.

If you don't enter with the Wheelers then you can turn up at 9am to just drive in any available spaces. I have a feeling there will be some spaces due to the lack of info on the show this year.

Beach buggin for us , won't be attending this show any more , last year some fxxking wxxxer thought it was a good idea to have there picture taken sitting on the hood of my vic.......

And I well needed one after all the miles you've been wracking up with all the shows you've been attending :D It's nice to have a break from it sometimes.

Nice find, didn't come across that website on my search a few month ago.

Yes fingers crossed for dry weather.

Its a shame they didn't keep it to the same weekend as previous years (1st weekend in August) then could have gone.
Love this time of year what with all the shows but also hate having to choose which one to do. Decisions Decisions!!

Mark thats dreadful. Some people just have no respect. I would have shoved them in the back and locked the door lol!!

I'm hoping to come to this one, as it sounds more my cup of tea than Beach Buggin. Not sure what time I'll make it yet though.

Enjoy if you go - from what I have heard the weather is supposed to be attrocious this weekend.
I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend at home.

If we go, I need to park on a hill, wont have the Starter motor by then. Its meant to be bad weather so I've heard. Fingers crossed its not, as we are going to a BBQ afterwards. Plug in my box of tricks into another 2000 Trans-Am to removed the computer aided gear selection. Don't know if you have heard of it, but its a pain in the bum, pulling out on a roundabout, and you want to go into second gear, but it wont let you as you are not going the correct speed, quite dangerous at times. As the next gear I could tend to find that would go in would be 5th.

The weather does look a bit dodgy. I'm hoping it will just be the odd shower, which would be tolerable, but if it's persistant rain for hours on end it's just not worth it. Will be keeping an eye on the forecast!

I defeated CAGS on my TA, but the Vette already has the mod. The light on the dash still comes on when it should be active but the solenoid never activates.

I won the battle of the starter motor, so I can get to Bargate tommorow.

Weather looking fine after mid day.
