Because it would be a shame to not do a burnout with an 850 horsepower Chevrolet Camaro Z/28.This amazing burnout video features a 5th generation Chevrolet Camaro Z/28. As you likely know, the 5G Camaro Z/28 is powered by the LS7 V8, delivering 505 horsepower and 481lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. The Z/28 was designed to be a road course warrior that can come out of the corners just as hard as they can dive into them, but this Camaro owner is more interested in making smoke than laying down smokin" fast lap times at least in this video. This particular Camaro Z/28 has been fitted with a supercharger which lifts the output from 505 to over 850, making burnouts even easier and when using a line lock system, this 5th gen Chevy muscle car is one wicked tire slayer. The video begins with a bunch of b-roll type footage and close up shots of the black 5g Camaro Z/28, including an in-car clip of the car pulling hard, and all of this footage is cool (despite the music playing over the video), as we get to see this customized Camaro from every angle. However, the good part of the video starts roughly 41 seconds in, when this Z/28 does a smokey burnout in a commercial-looking parking lot.Although this car surely doesn"t need line lock to do a burnout, the locked front wheels allow this driver to keep the Camaro Z/28 in place for almost 20 seconds as smoke pours from the rear tires. The smoke show continues as the driver turns off the line lock and speeds off into the distance with the Z/28"s tires continuing to spin.Although the music playing during much of the video is completely unnecessary, the roar of this blown LS7 is worth sitting through the music.
