The next big show is this a week today!! CanAm Car Club presents Lazy Sunday!!

Sunday June 1st 2014.
0900-1600.

Last year I managed to go along (work is a nightmare for getting in the way ) and I had the most fantastic day!! There is loads to see and do throughout the day so come along for a corker!!

Admission is as follows:
?5.00 Per car.
?3.00 per motorbike.
?2.00 per pedestrian.

We have been offered a club stand but this will rely on people letting me know whether they're interested or not. So if you're up for it please let me know, then I can let CanAm know

Solent Renegades will be meeting at Rownhams Services at around 0815 and will be leaving at 0830 to cruise on to the show.

That's a shame....last year was brilliant. I just hope we had the sun like last year too.

Doesn't look good all week but knowing our weather it can change any time. I hope the sun does shine though as its quite a drive in the rain.

The car is fueled up and ready to go. they want us there slightly earlier than last year, so we can be all parked up way before public arrive. I do look forward to this show, a nice convoy there on the M27/A27. Far enough to see new cars, but no too far away. Now, lets keep fingers crossed for a sunny day.

Although one of the Can-am shows last year was down on numbers as it rained in the morning, but by the afternoon sun was out and people getting a tan. It seems to suddenly change in that area.

We won't be able to convoy in with you as we are coming down a different route.
What time are you aiming to be there? Can you save us a space with you guys?

Dan - That was Canamania. It ended up being really nice considering the massive downpour first thing.

American Thunder. Are you going in both cars or just the Vette? Either way there'll be space for you, the field being used is huge so there is always alot of space where the club stands are. I think Dan knows the route so we can look at that to see if there are any good spots to meet up nearer the venue

We will be approaching on the A338 from Salisbury.

We will be meeting at Rownhams services, so if you are coming down the A34/M3 that would be a perfect meeting spot. Rownhams Services is J2 of M27. If you are coming down a different route we could still arrange something.

Ah, just seen you post A338, So somewhere after Ringwood would be ideal, i will try to find a layby on Google Street View.

Hi Dave, Found an ideal place for you to wait for us, its just after where the A338 joins the A31, there is services on the left. Our convoy could be long, so we wont be able to pull in, but if Sarah could give Clare a call when we are 2mins away so you can start your engine ready to join in on the convoy.

We're leaving Rownhams at 8:30, so probably be going past around 20 minutes after that??

Is it a field or hard standing? If its a field I hope its not too waterlogged. My drive in this morning was eerily simliar to the floods a couple of months ago!
