You make a good point Chris, bikes are just as evocative as cars for many of us.Not really Will, they all had different aspects to them however, the one I didn't list as this is all about cars was my beloved Yamaha SS.

Range Rover P38 The best vehicle I ever owned, yes it went wrong, but it was fixable, took it to France, french would not register it as it ran on LPG or GPL in France, very long story, but bought back to UK and sold.
Citroen Picasso bought in uk to run back to France 2.0 diesel, crammed it full of UK goodies, went so well the daughter took it on, sold it when she took on the Voyager which she still has.
Chrysler Voyager again loaded up with uk goodies and driven to France agan the Daughter now runs it.

HAPPY MOTORING
Yeah, definitely OK re-adding boats . I'm sure a few of us have had some involvement with them, especially with the club being based on the south coast. You sure appear to have had some fun with themThank you, I have forgotten a few I also had a Mk1 granada Ghia Estate, the engine was seized when I got it, water ingress to drivers rear cylinder which had caused the piston to melt? and the rings seized, Still have the top of the piston to this day LOL
And a Kit car a Dutton Sierra estate, based on a MK1 Escort running gear, I put a 2.0 pinto with 5 speed box in it, very difficult to handle when WET!!!
Porsch 924
Can I add boats as well?
Had a 14ft speed boat with a Volvo stern drive, I made up plates and mated it to a 1,9 Peugeot Diesel, really did go well BUT overheated terribly.
Then a Shakespeare Arrow Flight? Not sure on the make, it had a V8 in it at one time, but when I picked it up the engine was missing, ought another boat with a Mercruiser 466 4 pot and swapped it all over, including the stern drive, first time out she dropped a valve, and cracked a liner right open, when searching for another block and spares I was told the 466 was 1/2 a yank V8 so approached American car spares in London, and yup they had all the gaskets, and a couple of valves, the head gasket had to come from Mercruiser though.
