My 1998 Sebring JX convertible.
Import from Florida in 2003 then dry stored until last year.
76000 genuine miles.
Underside is amazing: As good underneath as it is on top, never ever seen salt or bad weather.
Used over summer last year, was a superb reliable cruiser. I did maybe 2000 miles total including a trip to France and back, with no hiccups.
Much admired, it has great "kerb appeal" and people do like to come over and give nice comments or have a chat about the car.
Everything works well. Aircon blows cold, heater works well, no known faults.
Good quality Bluetooth DAB radio with hands free phone fitted last year.
Electric windows, Electric hood.
Hood is in pretty good condition, no tears or repairs.
New battery fitted.
Recently serviced, all fluids drained and refilled with quality products.
Cheap insurance on a modern classic car policy.
Parts are easy to source, this model was sold in mainland Europe so Germany and The Netherlands are cheap and reliable sources.
Will have full MOT (stored over winter so it had expired).
Engine bay is excellent, clean and with nothing damaged or out of place.
The 2.5 litre 24 valve Mitsubishi derived engine is excellent, quiet but powerful and returns 30mpg + on a run, mid twenties around town.
Excellent interior, only minor sun fading, no sun cracking of plastics etc.
Body is 100% corrosion free, and very attractive. It has a few minor parking dings and one slightly larger ding in front of the offside rear wheel arch. I was quoted less than 100 by a mobile dent guy to do everything but I didn"t bother about it.
New BBS type wheels and tyres included at full asking price (original alloys with new tyres are available if preferred, or will be fitted if a lower price is negotiated)
There are a few of these around in the UK and they are mainly awful condition cars which have been badly looked after.
This car should not be confused with those examples, it is probably the best and certainly the most solid example available at this price anywhere.
Kept covered in a dehumidified garage.
I have not valeted or even cleaned the car for the picture, I just took off the cover and took the pics.
I have a four post lift and you are welcome to inspect the car underneath as well as drive it. You wouldn"t be disappointed in how excellent this car is all round.
A lovely car, honestly described, if it is looked after it will be a great investment.
Im gutted to sell but could use some cash...
