This week"s Drag Race video features a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS blasting down the quarter mile in the mid 10-second range. There are no useful details included with the video, but I believe that this is the "Fireball Camaro" that was the first 6th gen car to crack into the 9-second range. The Camaro in this video has the same wheels and it is racing in Tulsa, where the Fireball car was the first to turn in a 9-second quarter mile.This video was obviously filmed prior to that record-setting 9-second run and in this video, the Camaro SS doesn"t have the aftermarket exhaust or the logos on the door. With a 10.60 run at better than 128 miles per hour, I would guess that it has an early rendition of the nitrous setup that put the car into the 9s, but it is unclear what all has been done to this car to get it into the mid-10s.However, it is still a great video of a 6th gen Camaro SS rocketing down the quarter mile, so crank up your speakers and enjoy!Tags: 6th Gen Camaro, camaro, Camaro SS, drag race monday
