The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is one of the most powerful sedans in the world while also being one of the quickest and fastest. In most cases, a battle between a Hellcat Charger and a mild looking 4th gen Camaro Z28 would lead to a beating for the Chevy. However, this Camaro is nowhere near as mild as it looks.Details are short, but rather than and LS1, this 4th gen Camaro Z28 is fitted with a 6.0L LS2. We don"t have details on the extent of the build, but it is clear in watching the race below that this is not a stock 400hp LS2 at work. Mind you, this is a full interior car with air condition, so this car is every bit as heavy as it was the day that it was built. However, shy of the sticky tires out back, this Camaro doesn"t appear to be anything special. That LS2 power is sent through a 4L60 automatic transmission to the Nitto drag radials out back. It packs enough power to get this 4th gen Camaro down the quarter mile in the high 10-second range. The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is stock, with the exception of 17 inch wheels wrapped in Hoosier slicks. The LS2-powered 4g Camaro runs a 10.97 while the supercharged Charger runs a losing 11.1 We can"t see the trap speeds, but we can see that the mild looking Camaro grabs a lead at the starting line and he never looks back. Our 600-ish horsepower F-Body outruns the 707 horsepower Dodge from beginning to end.
