Guess who's back? It's Ken Block, in his outrageously modified classic Ford Mustang tearing up the streets of Los Angeles. Yes folks, it's time for another installment of Mr Block's Gymkhana series.
Well, nearly time anyway. TG.com has been given this exclusive image taken from the highly anticipated Gymkhana 7, which drops at 3pm UK time (7am PST) on Monday 17 November.
And we know only this: that it'll be set in Los Angeles, and it will use the quite excellent modified Mustang we first saw at SEMA. It's quite a thing.
Mr Block has taken a classic, 1965 Mustang, and then treated it to a 6.7-litre Roush Yates V8 producing 845bhp and 720lb ft of torque. It's attached to a Sadev all-wheel-drive system and a six-speed transmission.
Then there's all sorts of Hooning goodies: motorsport suspension, a full tubular chassis, roll cage, door bars, and Pirelli tyres in a ‘custom Ken Block compound'. This is probably our favourite thing about the ‘Stang.
"This is hands down the best Gymkhana car I've had yet," explains our good friend Ken. Does that mean we'll see the best Gymkhana video yet? You'll have to check back on Monday - where we'll bring you the whole story - to find out...
