1963 FORD F100 PICKUP<br />
A superb rust free pickup, having spent all it s life in the desert of Arizona, prior to importation by me in 1995.<br />
It has been bare metalled, & repainted in modern colours, and refurbished to the highest standard by myself, an ex Rolls-Royce coachbuilder/coachpainter.<br />
All body panels are ORIGINAL with no welding, except inner wheel pans (cut to accept an extra battery for desert use).<br />

SPECIFICATION LIST:- This is a totally rust free vehicle imported from Arizona, and has undergone a high quality 5 year refurbishment.<br />
ENGINE.- Original engine discarded, and fitted with a 460c.i.(7.5Litre) V8, from a 71 Lincoln Continental, rated @360HP from the factory. Fitted with unleaded heads from a 74 460. Oil pan removed, and all components checked and found to be satisfactory. New timing chain and gears, new points condenser & cap. New Felpro gaskets, oil & filter, core plugs and hoses. New engine mounts fabricated from rectangular box section.<br />
TRANSMISSION:- C6 auto from the same source as engine, fitted with new F&R seals, Pan gasket, & selector shaft seal. Bands adjusted, filled with new fluid, and trans mount fabricated.<br />
REAR AXLE:- 9 differential replaced with limited slip unit, with a 3.30-1 ratio. R/H half shaft seal renewed, plus new oil and L.S. additive.<br />
FRONT BRAKES:- Stripped, checked & cleaned. Cylinders good but new rubbers fitted, and system bled. All shoes & drums in very good condition.<br />
STEERING:- Steering box moved forward 1.5 (40)mm, to raise steering column in order to fit full size Lincoln auto brake pedal. 1974 Lincoln tilt steering column (with ignition & gearshift lock) shortened 6 (150)mm, & fitted. All electrics wired accordingly, shroud fitted & trans indicator fabricated.<br />
INTERIOR:- Headliner, side & rear window panels, & fuel tank covered with light blue velour material. Lincoln deep pile carpet cut to size, and edge bound in vinyl to match the seats. Lincoln metallic blue leather seats totally dismantled , seat bases cut, re-fabricated and welded to shape to fit the sloping floor. Seat covers dismantled & unused sections from discarded rear seats sewn in. Small centre console fitted to accommodate switching and electrics for drivers seat. Carpeted kick panels with vinyl bound edges, made up & fitted to door bottoms. Lincoln stereo radio and Pioneer 30w door speakers fitted.<br />
BODY:- All panels except cab removed from chassis. All glass, rubbers, emblems, trims and interior removed. Most panels bare metalled. Rear bed shot blasted. Bed interior painted with textured acrylic, and floor fitted with custom made Iroko hardwood strips & dressed with teak oil. The rest of the body and cab interior, finished in two-tone blue base coat & clear. All panel interiors protected with a liberal coating of waxoyl. Tailgate hinges, hood latch, tailgate chains(supplied loose) and various other parts zinc plated.<br />
CHASSIS:- Steam cleaned and painted satin black. New shocks & flexi brake hoses fitted.<br />
Exhaust system:- Pipes fabricated from manifolds, culminating into twin Thrush Sidewinders with polished aluminium covers, red accented and clear lacquered.<br />
ENGINE COMPARTMENT:- Wiring extended to run hidden in chassis rails, along with voltage regulator and horn relay. Reconditioned alternator fitted. Starter solenoid and terminal block moved and concealed behind battery. All wiring concealed in plastic trunking. Underside of hood covered with felt padded black vinyl. Hood hinges & lock mechanism bare metalled & lacquered.<br />
Wheels:- Wheel centres painted to match body, & fitted with stainless steel allen bolts, new centre caps and wheel locks. <br />
