This can be a good thing, because sometimes things cost more than a logical mind can comprehend.Take this 1957 Ferrari 335 Sport Scaglietti, for example, which sold for an astonishing $35.6 million at an auction in Paris last week. That"s approximately 24million, in good old pounds sterling.The stunning specimen won the Cuban Grand Prix in 1958, finished second in the Mille Miglia, and set a lap record at Le Mans during its racing career, having been commanded by the likes of Stirling Moss and Mike Hawthorn.It now ranks among the most expensive cars ever to have gone under the hammer, in a roster dominated by Ferrari 250s and, um, not a lot else.But where exactly does it land on the list?
