That third picture looks great, especially with those Budnik Wheels.
I'll see what the guys can do. Under the bumpers is all being sprayed, however masking off the engine will be a lot more work. I wonder if a red engine bay and purple elsewhere will be okay. In the door shuts and all that is being repainted anyway.

Maybe get a couple of rattle cans made up and do it yourself afterwards? You could take your time masking up and removing what you can....
Thats a great idea, yes i could do that, as once I get a wider garage I plan to take the engine out, so that will be the perfect time to do it.

I see you found them on Facebook about re-chroming wheels. They do look good, seen some of the things they have chromed, and it is impressive.
Working from home today, ordered some wire and shrink sleeve from Farnell. I usually get it delivered to work, but had trouble with the login, so had to order as anonymous and they will then only deliver to the card holder address.
Reason for the cable, is its so easy to get to the wiring on the Trans-am now with no front or rear bumpers, i can tidy up the light conversion wires. Make a nice soldering job of it, shrink sleeve with glue in it to keep the joints watertight also put spiral wrap around the wires.
I also have an electric aerial repair kit which I'll fit as the aerial is off now.
My plan is to do this on Saturday, arrive at their workshop for 9 am and leave there at noon, should get it all done by then.

True, I'll certainly be selective with what I do with the car now.
They have ordered paint and it should be that nice metallic purple. It looks like the are painting every crevice of the car all around the engine etc... no need for the rattle cans. When I go to car shows of 2000 cars there may be Trans-ams of a similar year, most are black or red, after going through the work of a respray a change of colour will help stand out.
