I m selling my stunning 429 ci 1965 Cadillac Sedan De Ville Pillared Version
The car is very solid and the Paint is really nice, and has just got 1 years MOT on it. It s lowered for looks, but still rides well, you just need to be careful over the speed-bumps. I ve installed an Alpine stereo with infiniti speakers and a subwoofer for added cruising enjoyment.

The TH400 Box is sweet, the drivetrain and axle super smooth, and the brakes are strong. It actually handles really nicely too, you can guide it down a small-ish twisty road at a good pace no problem I was surprised!
It s by no means perfect as it s never been fully restored, but a very good base for a rolling resto / continued improvement. You can use it whilst improving it along the way, as I have done for around 3 years. Whilst the mechanicals need a little bit of work if you want, the body and Chassis are very smart & solid and it starts on the button.
In all honesty, there are some issues - the fuel tank leaks a little but when you are filling it and the engine breathes a bit and wets #4 spark plug to the point where you need to pop a new plug in there after 60~100 miles of driving depending on how you drive. I m just being honest here, I could chuck some thick oil in there and sell it on, but that s not my style. The Power Steering box weeps a bit of fluid too, I just top it up every now and then as I don t have time to rebuild the box. Also, the windows and door locks need some attention, but this won t cost anything to fix, just a bit of time.
If I had the time and space, I d freshen the engine up it s only the one cylinder that s causing an issue after various compression tests I suspect its valve guides. I d also put air ride on it, and have a seriously awesome + usable car.

It s an extremely beautiful solid & honest car which has given me a lot of enjoyment, it s stored indoors and has recently had some corrosion over the rear arch addressed so it s ready to go. If you ve seen it at a show, you may have noticed the corrosion it s now sorted. You can enjoy it as it is, you just need to be a bit patient and pop a new spark plug in every now and then. I m only selling because I have a baby now, and the Saturdays spent playing V8 s at the storage workshop are being frowned upon!

Included in the sale will be the Shop manual, AC compressor and Condenser so you can potentially get the AC back on and working.

N.b, it has twin exhausts with glasspacks, and sounds superb.
