I have been toying with the idea for some time. Someone I work with in the US office has one so asked advice. I went for the Bambu P1S, its an enclosed one. Many are just a frame with no sides.
One of the test prints is a little boat. Completed in under 20mins.
The finish is really great.
By the next day I have printed more stuff. The White boxes are for silica gel, so I can keep the filiment dry. The cone shape is clever how it works as you can trist the orange part out from the middle.
Then printed a 'pop' shute, When the material gdeets purges between prints and changing colours it gets ejected out the back. This catches it and slides around the front.
Then I went on to making something I needed. This little circuit board I use for programming board with the Efinix FPGA on it. I did danage a board by it shorting out on another board while I was trying to do some debuging. Well wouldn't it be nice if it was in a box. So I 3D drew up a box and printed it out.
One thing I do want to make is some replacement peices for the t-tops on the car. This one is cracked, the other side is missing.
Now do I draw from scratch or to find a 3D scanner? which may need a lot of manual manipulation anyway... fun fun fun....
