Why the gate on the river? Stop sharks going up stream?

Lol, stop cattle coz when river gets back to normal there are some deep areas, the farmer had put up some pallets yes some pallets don't ask i don't know why but these have been knocked down, also as river runs through different fields which belong to different farmers they try and stop cattle,

Court another mole 3wk ends this one been giving me the run around

Sorry for the poor quality but he wasn't still or even there very long. Pretty sure its a Redwing, migratory bird possibly from Scandinavia.

Agree all the birds in termoil ref migration but is nice to see them. Lucky you had camera to hand👍

According to my RSPB book of British birds some stay here between October and March. So, not too far out of sync.

Got you thinking tho lol.

something has been digging up my garden i have not seen it so have no idea what. i have lots of little holes like this all over it my guess somebody is looking for there dinner.

Strange not mole hills lumps. Rats mybe do you live near water? Vole mink mybe

If you havan't seen the critters they are probablly nocturnal. Maybe Badgers or even Hedgehogs, both like to eat worms and bugs etc., and also like to dig. Foxes tend to forage rather than dig but can't rule them out.

not moles, only water is my pond that's raised out of the ground about 2 foot i have never seen Badgers or Hedgehogs but there are foxes in the area. must be small as it does not set off the outside light. [the late dannydog did] nearly forgot did get a visit from a dear once

Moles would be better off stopping off underground, atleast they wont freeze down there.

Will the ice get thick enough to walk over the river?

Yes nice to here the owl and sometimes see it as well wake up in mornings and here it if am outside getting ready for work in the dark you some see it fly over and sometimes at night as well.
