This sweet drag racing compilation comes to us from the ScottieDTV YouTube channel and it features several Chevrolet Camaro race cars getting down at the 2017 Holley LS Fest. This video doesn"t show any complete races, but it offers a great look at what the event has to offer when it comes to the racing program.A Modern GM Performance FestivalIf you are unfamiliar with Holley LS Fest and you are a modern GM performance fan, you are missing out. This festival of high performance Chevys was started to showcase the many different LS-based engines, but more recently, those cars, trucks and SUVs powered by the new LT engines are also welcome. Basically, it is called LS Fest, but it more of a "modern GM performance fest".The event includes drag racing, autocross, the 3 S Challenge (speed, stop and steer), Track-X, Show-N-Shine and other attractions, such as a swap meet and manufacturers" midway. Champions are awarded in multiple categories for each event and for those LS-powered attendees who want to participate in multiple events, there is an overall champion as well.A Look at the Drag RacingIn the video above, we get a brief look at the drag racing action from the 2017 LS Fest Drag Racing classes. The clip begins with a wicked second-generation Camaro with a big twin turbo setup making a run, followed by a similarly intimidating-looking third-gen car both of which have traction issues. There is also a fourth-gen Camaro SS taking on a Cadillac CTS-V coupe.Through the middle of the video, a handful of fifth-gen COPO Camaro race cars head down the track, followed by a short segment showing cars rolling through the garage area.
