This LS Nova burnout comes to us from the extreme989 YouTube channel and it features a 1973 Chevrolet Nova putting on a smoke show for a collection of foreign cars. Thanks to a modified LS1, this old school Chevy muscle car easily roasts the rear tires while emitting the sweet sound of an American V8. Best of all, we get to watch the burnout in real-time and in slow-motion, adding an extra element of cool factor to the clip. The MachineThe details on the car in action in the video above are brief, but we know that it is a 1973 Chevrolet Nova. We know that it has been fitted with an LS1 V8 engine and we know that it has been modified with "bolt-ons", but there is no indication as to what exactly has been bolted to the engine. Fortunately, we don"t need a mod list to appreciate a good burnout and there is no question that this burnout would rate as good-to-great.In addition to the LS1 engine, this Nova appears to have four-wheel disc brakes under the larger-than-stock wheels wrapped in low-profile rubber. Also, it has a gorgeous metallic blue exterior paint scheme with white stripes, making for a stunning show-ready "73 Nova. The ActionWhen the video begins, the 1973 Nova immediately begins to spin the rear tires. Amidst the roar of the built LS1, smoke quickly pours from both rear tires and within a few seconds, the driver lets off of the brakes allowing the car to creep forward. However, the tires continue to spin and smoke hard, creating a cloud that follows the old school Chevy as it races off into the distance.Meanwhile, a pair of Subaru BRZs and an older Porsche 911 look on, as their drivers likely all watch, wishing that their cars would do a burnout like this one.Crank up your speakers and enjoy!Join the LS1tech forums today!Tags: Burnout Fridays, Chevrolet, ls1, Nova, Video
