MSD Coil Packs

Still not installed these. lol. Just fetched them out of the loft, coil packs, injectors and HT leads.

We were talking about not buying from China in a previous thread. We buy known brands like MSD, an American company with loads of back ground in performance, a name you can trust. Made in China, argggh....

I'll do the other side in the morning.

will you be opening the plug gaps
Haven't done, but i guess i could if I can find the feeler gauge, the main thing that attracted me to the MSD was the multi spark aspect.

Wat plugs you using? You might not be able to adjust ie like the multi electrode type or the auto lite you need a tool but that adjusts one way only and as you running alot of power do you need a different heat range???

Other side went in pretty well. It's slightly more difficult to get to. All turned out good.

Took it for a data logging test drive. I've been running maffless open loop for some time now. A couple of weeks ago sitting on Idle it was running rich. I started to look into Idle tuning and logging today, it's running stock/lean. There had been no tuning change, same coolant temp, air temp a little warmer today. Perhaps the new coils burning the fuel better.
