This week"s Throwback video features a commercial for the 1994 Chevrolet Camaro that I would say definitely wasn"t made by General Motors. I can"t quite put my finger on what it is that makes this video seem less than professional grade, but that doesn"t make this 4th gen Camaro commercial any less interesting.The video starts off showing a guy with a Fox Body Mustang stranded on the side of the road when the car overheated. As he weighs his options of how to deal with his Mustang which is likely to be found on roadside, dead he sees something shimmer off in the distance. That something is a brand new 1994 Chevrolet Camaro.The guy walks out into the desert to see the Camaro and when he climbs in, the car appears to be semi autonomous, buckling him in, popping in a jazzy rock and roll CD and firing up the engine. Perhaps that is how it got out in the middle of the desert by itself, but it proves to be a lifesaver for this Mustang driver. The video ends with 30 seconds of the guy cruising around in the 1994 Camaro until he gets the checkered flag.Enjoy! Tags: 1994 camaro, 4th gen Camaro, camaro, throwback thursday
