This Kill Story was originally shared to the forum in a thread by “Jtm2085”, who owns the 2002 Chevrolet Camaro in the video. In this clip from the YouTube channel with the same name, the LS6-swapped, bottled 4th gen F-Body takes on a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and beats it soundly.Vehicle DetailsIn the first post of the thread, the OP explains that the Charger has full exhaust, and intake, a pulley swap and a tune, but the Dodge is running on street tires. As you see in the video, the modifications really don"t make any difference, as the big sedan can"t make use of the extra power with the street tires. The Camaro has an LS6 under the hood with a Fast 102 intake, BTR camshaft and a nitrous kit. All of that juice (pun-intended) is being sent to the sticky rear tires by means of a Moser 9-inch rear differential. In other videos in the channel, they reference a 150-shot, so that could be the size of the shot in this run, but we do not know for sure.LS6 Camaro vs HellcatThe video begins with both cars staged and the lights coming down. When the reflection of the green lights shine across the front of the white Camaro, the LS6-powered beast rips away from the line with the front end up in the air. The Charger, on the other hand, struggles to get off of the starting line as the Chevy roars down the track. As the race continues, the Dodge continues to spin the tires and play with the throttle while the Camaro makes a nice, smooth run down the track for the win. The OP explains in the thread that the nitrous system wasn"t working correctly at high RPM, but the car still ran a 9.87 at 132 miles per hour on this pass.Join the LS1tech forums today!Tags: 4th gen Camaro, Drag Racing, Kill Stories, LS6, Video
