One of a kind sure is

No I’m saying it’s a shopping trolley!
Isn't there an old saying about bad workmen blaming their tools? Lol  ;)
Anyway, sorry Dave, that may be your opinion mate...but it's not fact. Below is a link to a short clip of an aforementioned shopping trolley giving a front engined, rear wheel drive car a really hard time, despite a considerable horsepower defecit. You'll notice it's advantage is on the corners...where handling counts. Iv'e watched loads of similar races, this is typical.

I accept that you hate those little cars, but trust me, they do go round corners.
FWD and RWD cars have very different handling characteristics, therefore require different driving styles when on the limit. Someone very used to RWD cars may have a nasty shock when jumping in a FWD one...as maybe you did?
I experienced the reverse. I grasstrack raced a Riley Hornet, a Mini and a Mini Clubman. Then I went over to a mk1 Escort! Talk about tail happy, especially on mud! Lol

Talking of RWD - my solstice insurance is up for renewal so I did the usual looking around. Found brentacres website which said that to get insurance, you had provide evidence that you had driven a rwd!!!
That's interesting and re-enforces the point about their handling differences I guess
Dave mentioned women drivers stuffing RWD cars!
Note...I didn't say that! Lol

Sorry Will. All you have done is prove my point.
1. Front wheel drive takes no skill, it just pulls round to the limit of adhesion. That’s is not handling. Handling is the balance of control it takes between steering and power across separate axles.
2. You are comparing cars with very different suspension setups. Ie NO comparison
3. No where did I state that a front engined fwd car was faster than a front engine rwd car. What I have stated all along is that I dislike fwd cars because of their handling characteristics.

As I said, another example of where we disagree. Let’s leave it there shall we?

Where did I actually say that FWD is better? What I am saying (and tried to show you) is that a well set up Mini driven by someone who knows what they are doing is quick at cornering!
But yeah, I'm happy to amicably agree to dissagree as always :)

weather you like it or not you must admit there has been alot of work gone into it typical 70's street machine vibe

It would turn name heads burbling down the road in that, and many adults will relate to it as there parents probably had one or know someone who had.

I can't quite make out the logo on the centre caps but they look like Wolfrace Wheels!! I remember they were quite popular back in the day.
