UK registered but needs mechanical work before it"s ready for the road.
California import which has been in storage for 14 years.
389ci V8 with 3-speed Hydramatic Auto
Engine and box are currently out of the car for a freshen up but as yet are still untouched. Engine turns over freely but needs checking over before firing up as the car has been stored for many years.
Power brakes will also need an overhaul.
Whitewall tyres are as new and were recently fitted.
Bodywork is rock solid and very straight, needs a patch on one of the rear floorpans and also the trunk floor is thin so worth replacing.
Bumpers are not the best but useable, stainless trim is complete and in decent shape.
Interior needs a complete retrim unless you like sitting on springs! All the fabric has been removed and the frames are ready to be sent to the trimmers.
Front and rear screens are good, some of the side glass is cracked and/or delaminating.
Only selling as I have other priorities and can"t commit the time right now so would prefer to move it on to someone who can get stuck into it.
It"s a genuine California black plate "59 Bonneville Coupe project with the straightest solidest body you"ll find, invest the time and money and it"ll be a big dollar car or just fix up the oily bits and drive it as is.
