Removing ABS from 4th Gen Trans-Am

Yes, true there.

Tracking from US side says it is in London, not showing up on RoyalMail yet, although they show it as a parcel from the states. Its getting close now. :)

And whatta ya know - it went through Chicago :) :)

2 days ago it departed Heathrow (US tracking shows that), however not showing up in ParcelForce or RoyalMail yet.

strange - it could be in customs but they do normally still show that!
Perhaps call parcelforce and see what they say.

Its near now, its last tracked at the sorting depot around the corner from us. Wouldn't be surprised if there isn't a calling card at home later. :)

Although I won't fit it till after wheels day now, wouldn't want to risk cutting brake lines incase something goes wrong, rather do it when I have a week spare. Away from Monday in Ireland for 4 days. Haynes this Sunday.

Parcel at the sorting office, getting exciting now. had a delivery card though the post today while i was at work with a £22 customs charge, which is about the amount I was expecting. I'll pick up the parcel on the way to work.

Got it.

It would be handy to see photos, there isn't much in the instructions. Loads of text, but its always great to refer to photos too.
Looks good quality stuff, brake lines nice and thick. Valves looks well built. Line lock there too.
My axle still running well. Spoke to Hauser about running it in, they said to not let the oil get too hot, so thats all good even for the run to to Haynes as its not under much load or high speed. I did give it a little blip earlier as I drove passed someone almost asleep in their car. Not tickled the throttle like that since December, and it felt great.
Looking forward to getting that line lock fitted in the delete ABS kit. Although may hardly ever use it, but then I don't use 500hp very often either, but its just nice to know its there.

That does look tidy hidden behind the heat shield.

Certainly not as clean.

My fuel lines are behind the heat shield too.

I think your just going to have to start by getting stuff out the way. Don't let the master cylinder run dry or you'll be taking it off to bench bleed and that ain't fun.

best of luck, the last parcel i got came usps to London quickly then 17 days London to me, when i tried to track it parcel force/royal mail had no record.

Not yet, want to have a full weekend in case something wrong. Plus planned by to get it in a good position. Next weekend I'm planning on taking my door off to fix the crack around the hinge causing the door to drop and the outer skin comes loose. Although MOT on Saturday, and hauling show on Sunday. So may do it right after MOT.
