Dan,

Was just looking at your install thread on rear shocks and springs, but can’t remember if you have done the fronts yet?

Yes, but didn't do an install guide type thing for it. Took loads of photos. Shocks and springs done when the K-member was butted with upper and lower arms.

There was a regular thread for it. https://www.solent-renegades.co.uk/threads/k-member-swap.37564/page-2#post-97747
While the engine was held up and the K-member removed I done the sump gasket.

Yes, and very impressed it felt okay before but there is a good improvement now. It feels like I have more grip even when pulling away in a straight line. Cornering is far better, less roll, steering feels more responsive.
Everything suspention wise is new, new bushes. The roll bars are standard. Would say it feels like a new car but the only new car I've had is the Kia, lol.
All aligned, I done it myself, camber 0.85 degrees, other settings as you said in another thread. Got it checked at a garage and only minor tweaks needed to get it spot on. Quite impressed how close I got with string, tape measure, spirit levels and sticks.

The straight line is improved geometry, you fitted LCA relocation brackets right?
Yep sure have, the launch is greatly improved. LCA's fitted and also the adjustable torque arm. Took it for a blast around the country lanes a few weeks ago. Even little things like braking into a corner and the sterring feels soo much tighter. Its certainly a different animal now, the power is more controlable.

Not really must else lined up to do on the car. The IRS is tempting, if I had a pot of cash I'd do it, perhaps a watts link instead . Really the head lining and sunvisors are in need of some TLC. Other than that its pretty much perfect. Handy having the pit as I can clean my new suspention parts.

The Watts link is a game changer. Almost as good as IRS. It really solves the issues generated by the panhard bar setup.
