I read so lame where that cutting the fuel allowance saves £1bn a year.
However apparently £10bn a year is spent on illegal immigrants that made it over the water. Not sure how true that is, may need to fact check that. I read it on a website that I believed was true, but we all know how online data goes.

Update: £7.8 Billion allegedly to Ukraine PLUS another £2.7 Billion to replace donated military equipment. This is what they are admitting to, so its probably double that amount..... 
£7.8 Billion Committed to Ukraine
The report also said that a total of £7.8 billion in funding has been committed to military support for Ukraine between January 2022 and March 2025. This is coming through the Treasury’s Reserve rather than the MoD budget, though the MoD is working with HM Treasury to agree objectives.
This includes £2.4 billion spending on procuring equipment for Ukraine, in addition to donating equipment from British stockpiles. The MoD estimates it will cost £2.7 billion to replace the donated equipment up to 2030-31, which will have a higher value for replacement spending to reflect the cost of replacing old equipment with new, in some cases with kit using more advanced technology.

Who remembers the pole tax protests in London. Wonder if that will happen for the lost of winter fuel payment when people die from hyperthermia?

Cant see that happening. Where are the protests in the streets, when pension age keeps increasing by a year (£12k robbed out of your pocket thank you very much
) and also when the WASPI's were robbed of their state pension (£50k each I think) when pension age for women increased.Unfortunately, it mostly affects the pensioners and people less energetic to protest which is why they choose it.
Why do registered blind people have to pay for a TV licence and elderly people over a certain age used to not have to have a TV licence but now they do!!!!
