Vinyl or not to vinyl ...

Side-swoosh decal is DONE. Holy crap, that was evil. And the wrong kind of vinyl, but we got there in the end with a small compromise. The matt vinyl to replace this gloss stuff will be happier following contours with a heat gun/hairdryer. I think I spend hours on it to tame it into place!
Finished about 15 minutes ago (its nearly 9pm! EEEK!). Didn't get any polish down on the car...so will have to try and rush-job that in the morning to get rid of the decal 'floating agent' (water and soap) streaks on the car. Yargh.
NOW I GO GET FOOD. Sheesh.
All this whip crackin' and lady slaving over a silly GM-brand "A-to-B" car and I don't even get a BEER

Anyway, and no one go start staring too closely to that vinyl! Its definitely not a pro job, but covers a lot of scratches and nasty bits, so I guess that is what the goal was Maybe by next year I will have that darn leather car la-bra off and front fender repainted. Would be nice!
But for now, I am going to relax for a bit and head to bed.
AND STILL NO BEER! My old man isn't doing his job! (kidding kidding) But he saved me from having to make dinner and took me to get my favourite Chinese.
Ooo! In other news, chatted with Kegail and his PT Cruiser at the Curlew (in Havant/West Leigh) while our vehicles got quick cleanings by the hand wash dudes there. He promised to be at the show tomorrow, so mark my words as I am holding him to it!!
