You need a friend to video you doing a drive past. Mind you with lack of people, you could probably put a camera on a wall recording. Watch out for cows eating the camera.

Changed fuel filter today

As i am using the TA a bit more just wondering about converting to electric fans with new radiator ok will have to change belts to smaller size and buy a thermostat cut-out to bring fans on this in theory will release a small amount of BHP (y) Help with cooling

Got electric fans on later cars as standard. I guess it reduces drain direct from the engine off a pulley, but it is taking more power from the alternator to replace the energy in your battery. So not sure if it releases HP.
New stuff will help with cooling, better flow radiator etc. Sarah got a radiator for the Camaro in the UK, you may be able to do the same with the TA.

Coming back from Shrewsbury classic show the other week see that thread. There was a heavy down pour had to use wipers they worked but was making a clonking noise. I thought I had changed the wiper motor? But 100quid later new recon motor from rockauto turned up so today I will be replacing motor. Will keep old motor as spare as the motor works something in the control gears is clonking.

new motor in re tapped the fixing holes so new m6 bolts could be used as old bolts heads were a pain to remove , head light failed these are sealed units managed to get 1 from e bay b4 making a summit order still have dash board out as waiting on new led 501 bulbs as ran out the filament ones a couple had blown

those headlights look the same as the ones used in a couples of Cadillac's i had in the 90's. they can be replaced with units that take a halogen bulb. i think it was mostly Japanese stuff.

Broke my sealy dremal tool ordered Saturday came from Kent turned up yesterday. Went into motor factors ref main beam seal head lights no joy hella salvainyia none summit racing had then next day looked on e Bay and 1 came up so placed order.

Dan has some spare main beam head lights similar to mine if anybody is interested? My part number was different which was a shame but thanks Dan for looking. They might fit but wales ro waterlooville long way to find but worth looking next time down that way.

Yep certainly got some spares, its a flatbeam so can be used either side of the vehicle. It was cheaper for me to buy a box of 12 from the states than the cost of 1 in the UK. Over the 20 years I've only used about 4 of them. So have about 40 more years worh here. lol.

Fitted new auto box cable a few weeks ago these are set lengths connect each end with a clevis pin with a R clip. The auto box dosnt change properly the only adjustment I can find is on the rod linkage not on the cable but manual opperation seam to work so is there any adjustments inside the car on the shifter??

Thinking about ordering another spare main beam headlight as well.

In what way does it not change well, reading this i guess manual shift 1/2/D are ok but you are having issues when in D ?

Good question my explanations are not always clear,
L or (LAUNCH CONTROL )lol ok ish
1st good
reverse good
natural ok ish
park ok
drive doesn't always locate
these all worked before cable changed ,cable damaged measured cable to get right length cable been on car 11 year years that i know of, old and new cable has no adjustment assuming my old cable had stretched a bit, the only adjustment i can see is on rod linkage
i have replaced the nylon bush that goes into the chassis rail, my be with all new component it has pulled it all nice and tight and the rod just needs adjustment or is there adjust in the gear stick assembly?
