They guy I saw in the states has a Hellcat, I didn't get to see it, but did see his massive truck, a GMC 1500 Sierra Denali, runs on petrol, and did pull very well and still kept traction. That thing was huge, looked bigger than the Dodge Ram when I was trying to get in it.
Possibly not, but my enthusiasm has definitely declined over the last few years, and as I concentrate on other things (career, family and fitness) I find myself missing it less. Don't get me wrong, driving the Challenger still makes me smile, but other things have overtaken it (mustangs not included!!!).
If it gets 0-100 in 6.8 seconds, that's gonna be more like low 9's for 1/4 miles, perhaps even into the 8's. Trap speed of 150mph-170mph. Awesome bit of kit.
I saw a video of it this morning on faceache, but faceache being soo rubbish you cannot find what you looked at earlier today, don't know how people put up with that crap. Was going to try to find that same video on youtube with a linky to here.
And of course, Hennessy (the tuning house) have released a tuned ZL1 to compete with the Demon.
Boasts over 1000hp, but I'm sure the tuners will beat that withe Demon once they get there their hands on it.
The name they have given it though is excellent........ Exorcist!
