This week"s Drag Race Monday video features a quarter mile battle between a 3rd gen Chevrolet Camaro and a 4th gen Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. We don"t have any details on either of these high powered f-bodies, but both are obviously very heavily modified.Based on what we can see and hear, it seems as though the 3rd gen Camaro is fitted with some sort of turbocharger setup, as we can hear the whistle before the run begins and based on how the Camaro leaves the line I could definitely see it being a turbo car. The Firebird seems to hop out to a quick lead, but as the Camaro rolls away from the line and lifts the front end, the older Chevy quickly overtakes the Pontiac.In the end, the 3rd gen Camaro runs a 9.42 at 149.77 miles per hour while the Firebird runs a very respectable 11.27 at 121.67mph.Crank up your speakers and enjoy!
