Panhard bar setup for the T/A

Got the torque arm attached at this end. Took a bit of shuffling, Jacking that car up, turn that axle to get through angle for 2 long bolts to get through.

That wasn't the end of my simple tasks that turn into more work. Can't get to the teo Allen key bolts at the top of the torque arm rubber mount. So tranny mount had to come off so I should pull it down to get to the bolts.

All done, just need to attach the exhaust.

Are you trying to?????

Exhaust back on. Was a struggle, but got there in the end. Managed to gain some slack as it's tubes that slide in tubes then clamped. Some at different angle to others which added a challenge.

Very close in places. Will have to drive it to hear if there is a noisy rattle.

Won't hear rattles with that exhaust lol.🤣

All done, bolts checked. Time to give it a test

Test drive went well, went around some tight country lanes.

Some exhaust rattles had gone, got some new. Think that tranny mount and exhaust touch sometimes. Not too concerned as that knock under the passenger floor from the exhaust has now gone.

Test driving yesterday was good. However the exhaust came apart this morning

Used some ratchet straps to try to pull it together. It was a struggle to get it together a few days ago. Obviously I did t get it far enough in
Marked 2 lines on there. One at 30mm the 2nd at 50mm. It would be nice to get 50mm.

Not far enough yet. This was a struggle to get it this far. So much tension in the straps.

Oooh a bit more done. This was jacking under the exhaust and straps to pull it together.

This tended to go at a slightly wrong angle when jacking it. As the jack goes straight up, exhaust like at 45degrees.
So next was to stop the exhaust over the axle lifting up, I strapped it to the axle so it can move up out of the way. Then jack it. Got it in 30mm and the weight of the car is now on the exhaust. It's not going in any further.

Test drive went well. Fingers crossed it holds. Perhaps needs a little tack weld.
