The point your missing is that I can’t change what I already own, but I can be more selective in what I buy moving forwards.
Nope, obviously. My point was that even if we think we're not buying Chinese from now on, we may still be in part. The point your missing is that I can’t change what I already own, but I can be more selective in what I buy moving forwards.
Sure, that's typical of what I've found. Chinese stuff gets everywhere...a bit like a virus!!The new alternator I got was an AC Delco one, it has a made in China sticker on it .
It's not going to be easy avoiding products from that side of the world.
I understand where loyalties lie but having worked in what is deemed one of the worlds top motor manufactures it won't come as a suprise that parts are sourced far and wide.In the times ahead it is now that global trading is needed more than ever regardless of personal opinion
it ain't the global economy i object to its the crap they produce like the turbo i just bought not what it was advertised as, looked a bit like it fitted in the same way but would not work. i wasted hours working on the motor cause i thought i must have fitted it wrong
Lol. Every phone including house phones feature Chinese made components.
Oh no.Hopefully lockdown won't last long - as of tomorrow evening I'm furloughed ?
The government pay 80% of the gross salary up to a maximum of £2500. I believe the firm applies to the government for the money and then pays the staff from there.
They have said I will get new salary end of June.
