Not sure if it was too much power or too much speed or badly secured dyno.

Usually on a dyno you take your car to something like 2000 rpm in 3rd or 4th gear then when told floor it to the rev limit and then slow down gradually. It seems in this video they were going for a top speed or something. Probably done a bit of damage to the Mustang too.
