Project now started

Only Darren could put the pics upside down lol here we have a rust panel on the firewall which I cut out and replaced . Front brakes stripped clean and painted both of them were stuck on. Also have had to buy new front springs after cleaning the pass side up and one of the coils had gone down to half it thickness RA car is almost ready to have the front put back on :) then start on the back happy Xmas all

Wow you have been busy. Its looking very good. Keep up the good work, at least you know everything is solid when you put it back together. Its great to see the progress.

Update on TA just waiting for some parts to turn up then I should be able to re fit the front wing and front clip back on. Car has had all the front bushes done now and the front brakes stripped and re built and is back on all four wheels lol it might even stop now :)

Try looking again at the thread thats running ref my TA, Their is a picture of the new door pin fitted .
The mud and rain and all the building work on the building site must be getting to you lol:heh:

There was a yellow 76 trans am a few years back that had very similar air brush art work , think he came from Bognor...I have some pics ...see if I can find them , I had a 77 t/a a few years ago....it's the only car that I regret selling.......
The yellow 76 did come from the Bogner region. Then owned by Kevin Chambers. He probably still owns it - he swore he always would.

Update ,

Let chris fill in the update progress,

Really looking forward to seeing it again. Do you have a target finish date? will it be ready for the Season opener towards the end of April?

Hi dan thanks for the comments yes starting to come back together hoping to get it back together and on the road for the season opener but still have a fair bit to do in between work and kids etc so fingers crossed . Looking forward to starting it up as I haven't had it running since before Xmas funny how you can miss the sound of a v8 lol

Make a video of when you start it up, you will be amazed how you go back to watching the vid years to come.
I made a video of when I first started the car up after the heads and cam swap. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAkooSvpk-4

ob boy - I remember having a 2nd gen stripped down like that. The panel alignment afterwards was a nightmare.
Lots of fun though - I still remember my first run after getting it back together and breaking in the new cam, what a blast!

Looks pretty must complete, is it running well?
I see what you men about the ride height, look normal at the back, high at the front. Doesn't look bad though. I bet you are eager to get back in it for a blast down the road. Its gonna look great both Chris and Darren going down the road in the 2nd Gens.
