Hi thanks Darren for posting the pics have fitted new fuel pump and sorted the fuel return pipe out which was folded back on its self as shown in the last pic car starts a lot quicker now and also replaced gear box sump with new shine one as the old one leaked thanks to having a screw in it ( someone's cheap idear to drain the oil out more than likely done in the states) lol so car runs slot better and I've got one less leak lol

I no wot you mean lol having restored a number of cars it's unbelievable wot lenths some people go to to badly repair or fix stuff and on more than once it would have been cheaper to get the correct part!!

Hi all well cars done all it's shows for this year so is now park up in the garage currently with no back axle or springs as the back ends being refurb pics to follow I have also orded alias of goodies from the states including rebuild stuff for the back end but also new cam and lifters and valve springs should breath new life into the old girl lol

Thanks daz as you can see the back end needs a bit of tlc. Only one shock was working the other had blown a seal!! Still passed two mots lol
Great to see the progress. What are you planning to do with the rear end? clean up and hammerite it?

Hi pics above shot leaf spring pads and new ones and shot rear shocks new one to fit. Yes Dan was going to strip it back good coat of hammerite then cover with waxoil stone chip and also waxoil in chassis rails. Have also got edlebrock rpm cam and valve springs coming do you know of anyone that's got the stud type valve spring removal tool? Would prefer to keep my heads on at this time lol but planing for some rpm later next year fingers crossed

Yes it's slowly coming together had a large order of parts arrive today so fingers crossed for dry weather at the weekend the wife might let me out to play lol

Hi all thanks daz for posting the pic yes Xmas come early so wot we got? Cam shaft valve springs timing gear end pipes hand brake cables wheel cyclinders brake hardware kits axle bolts diff oil valve spring removal tool etc etc phew bet I've missed so bits lol some of the order came from jegs and some from rockauto good service from both party's! Believe it or not all that lot came to less than ?350 inc shipping looks like fun times ahead lol

Yep all in 31 pounds on rockauto order and 240 on jegs order plus shipping from both come to just less than 350 with enough for a coffee lol
