A bit of a departure from original requirements. But... Clare originally wanted a 4th or 3rd gen convertible f-body. T-tops were an acceptable alternative.
Ideally a V8 and ideally a manual transmission.
But, when it became apparent that the budget meant a lot of compromises it was a question of what compromises to accept.
The gearbox and engine were chosen as areas where compromises could be made. Once that was decided the convertible became more important but the most important thing was decent bodywork.
The Sebring represents a lot of car for the money, with only 53K on the clock and a fair amount of history. The underside is also as clean.
The 2.7l V6 has a good pull as you would expect from 200hp, and everything works.
It’s not the car I would like her to have bought, but it is a baby Mopar!!
Huh! No surprise really given his eBay profile. That was either a scam or someone with no manners! A quick "Thanks for your enquiry and sorry, the car is sold" wouldn't have hurt them!
She’s running good. Not driving it to work as have no where to park (I’m on one of the main road in the town). Also by the time I’ve driven to work (in the rush hour traffic), parked in a pay and display car park and walked to the office I could have cycled in, got changed and made a cup of tea lol. And cycling means I’m getting my exercises in
