Wheels Day 2016

Well not long now until the Good Friday Wheels Day at Rushmore.
Weather had been dry for a good few weeks, so that field should be perfect for this show. However looking at the weather forecast today, looks like there is a wet weather band sweeping in from the west and it may be raining Friday, hopefully the moisture stays in the clouds and it floats onto somewhere else.

Wheels day was great. Lots to see, met some old friends and chatted to lots of other people, including Paul (the mechanic) from Wheeler Dealers. I'm sure photos will follow but a great start to the season. Transam has more than a few annoying rattles to sort though, grrrr!

Yes a very good show. Really enjoyed it, didn't get to see everything, there was soo much there. The sun was shining too which is always a bonus.

Cant wait for photo's, Glad all enjoyed them selves

Agree it was a good day - good to get out and about - ah Spring is here finally :)

What a long winter it's been!

The most interesting non-American car there for me was this ultra-rare Volkswagen K70, which was fitted with a Passat W8 engine:
