Xmas Toy ( TA project) come early

You must of read my mind today as brought a can of blue paint ,
or perhaps he implanted that thought in your mind with hypnosis or a subliminal message from a previous post.

Have to ask g-machine??????
Sounds like something you would find in Ann Summers

The Munroe stuff looks nice.

G-machine is something capable of pulling 'g' on a skid pan. It's easily possible even with a 2nd gen and was part of my plan earlier in the year. It's not cheap though and is definitely more than just shocks.

Just for Firehawk and American Thunder ok and me too, Started to remove red paint from rockers covers as it was wrong color and didn't look right
Started useing nitromors used half a can it was struggerling so got the blow tourch out and burned the paint off :thumb:

Have brought VHT primer and blue to repaint with hopefully tomorrow??

Looks like they were blue too. We had a set of blue pontiac valve covers in the garage - did we sell them?

I see you are using your expensive workbench again.

yes garage it too small you see by photo's though out this thread my garage is small and how close toolbox is to car can't even get to work bench with out moving car out, but nice to have garage. but TA is coming along slowly ,

yes they were blue to start with but paint terrable and didn't really like the blue but as american thunder pointed out olds engine should be blue so painted back to blue .

got a small list of parts building up again just got to save up for them and looks like JEGs will get my order this time sorry rockauto.

Right you lot feast you eye's on these i have now repainted them BLUE just have to refit them now, VHT grey primer VHT blue and VHT clear coat

Yes - much better ;)

Oooh they do look nice, good paint job there.

well i had to fit a new wiper motor as mine failed on me when we went to goodwood Vee day. So i ordered a few other parts, and upgraded my standard shocks as the ones i fitted were toooooooooo soft .But got me through my Mot last year as my old one's were shot. so put these coil over's on ride is so much better you don't feel car sick anymore more pleasant to drive . Even my dog had to check to take over the cardboard boxes for his bed . also ordered new poly rear bushes so at some time will get to fit them to the leaf springs.

Not so much coil overs, more of a helper spring.
And be aware, they are generally considered a bad idea as you are now putting load through the top mounting and it could rip out without re-enforcement. The stock shocks just control the leaf spring without loading the sheet metal. Proper coil overs replace the leaf spring and the area around the top of the shock mount requires re-enforcement to do it.
There are replacement leaf springs available if you want a firmer ride, including composite mono leafs that allow a much higher spring rate than stock steel multi leafs, and are cheaper than a real coil over kit.

I see you have moved away from using the bonnet of the mustang to now the kitchen. :tea:

I did this to my capri many years ago so much better ride quality and the ride on TA is so much better so smooth

How much was the dog?
He's priceless
