Good idea, although the axle will be black. My springs are red, but paint flaking off them. Could do with another coat, but I will only have black.The shocks are yellow. The roll bar bushes are red. It should looks nice and clean when I've finished but probably not worthy of mirrors.

The worktops are a piece of history. Its been my desk for almost 20 years now. You grow attached to these things.

And they are also good for finding 10 year old random car parts! lol.

Had all the heater matrix out changed the heater rad, seems I now have some warm air may even get hot just need to replace all the parts removed to get it out. So nice to be able to work in the dry with light.

I probably should do that to my daily driver, but I don't want to spend money on it beyond safety!

No money was involved just time and effort swapping heater radiator, still have other spare ones
Next job is trailing arm bushes hope that goes aswell.
Then down to my niece's garage to swap the steering rack,
Then she gets the nice job to MOT it for me fingers crossed.

Cleaned up the axle and roll bar with a brass brush attachment on the drill. Getting the rust off was easy, however getting the build up of oil and dust wasn't so. Used many rags and brake cleaner. Got there in the end. I got a spray bottle for the POR15 rust treatment and squirty that on. No time to paint today so may do that tomorrow.

I also took a t-top off to give the car a bit of air while I was working on the rear end. Looking forward to driving it again.

Gave Hausser Raving a call, items not coming in yet, they were delayed should be in tomorrow, they have a bit of work load on so it may be a case that I leave the axle with them for a few days and pick it up another time.
