What have you done to your vehicle today?

Not done anything yet, but have a long list. Starting (for simplicity reasons) with the radio.

Has anyone dealt with the chinese Android units? I'm looking at this:
My boss has bought units from AliExpress for his old Range Rover and his current Porsche and says they work great. The only thing I want to add to it is DAB radio - anyone know how easy/impossible that is?

On the 5th gen mustang you have to modify a bit of wiring. Can't make out what gen your mustang is you might just need to buy the correct plug and play adaptor harness keep thread updated with this others might need help as well 👍

New harmonic balancer pulley had some discolouration on it.
So giving it a polish before I fit.
400grit done. I have a way to go until I get to 7000 grit. Mirror finish then lacquer, and no one will see it. Lol.

The current pulley on there has some bits missing from the outer edge. It's also friction fit
The crank I have from the stroker kit takes a Woodruff key, and so can this new pulley so I have one of those to fit.

Ordered some parts. My current intake has a 78mm opening. The new has 102mm. This will help it breath a bit better and will certainly compliment the 383stroker kit that's already fitted.

Polish worked out well, 240, 320, 400, 800, 1000, 1500 then 3000 grit.

Gave it a coat of clear coat

Not fitted yet, removing the radiator will make it easier to give space for the puller. Only two pipes, not too much work.

Well what a ball ache pain in the ass shit job this has been with my car failed the mot my audi a4 s line.
Rear coil spring snapped rear brake hose leaking went when it was put on brake roller test from drop link bolt missing WTF and upper control arm. So let the fun start rear hose easy fix replaced copper washer 👍 onto coil spring fek bump stop on damper crumbling ( not mot issue) but replaced after geting wrong part from motor factors couldn't get OEM so e Bay febi brand sorted onto spring feking broke flexi brake line so new one fitted mot inspector was right PITA to change rear coil spring 1 bottle of brake fluid later ofter sorting out both flexi now onto front the pinch bolt again what a PITA had to put heat and use freeze spray and plus gas on pinch boltjust to get bolt out only needed to change rear top arm but due to hassle both arms needed to be changed then once done with right parts as motor factors gave me wrong arm onto drop link at least that went OK so booked in for retest. I'm between all this had to sort the Duster out with failed injector what next?????

What made the rear spring difficult?
T/A can be done without a spring compressor. Remove nut from bottom of shock and jack up the body, the spring can be grabbed and pulled out.

It was a combination of releasing damper to lower the complete lower arm that the spring sits in damper needed new bump stop breaking the rubber flexi hose you can't get standard spring compressor in there waiting parts lots of air in brake line and sorting injector at same time car we love them but still cheaper than paying garage labour rates and vat.

New handbrake cable fitted.

Ideal time to do it with no driveshaft or torque arm in the way.

Doing any rust treatment as you under there????

Yep, it's surprisingly good though. Nothing around the tunnel,
Back in 2003 the car had underseal sprayed on all underneath as it was just a painted finish before. This underseal had done a cracking job. For a 25 year old car that's done 200k miles you wouldn't believe it underneath. There were small bits like on when the end links join the car, the mount had light rust colour but nothing deep that deformed the surface.

My works van in for service and mot 3 year old 1st mot found bump stops and rear brakes so far
