What was the event?

a promotion video. i was asked for the loan of the ranchero and i got to meet up with some friends i had not seen for while

New tin of POR15 has arrived. Ready for when I take bits off under the TA. Give it a nice coat before refitting new parts. Costly stuff, around £60 for this tin.

I have paint brushes. Can't easily clean off POR15 without costly thinners and without making more mess. Cheaper to buy throw away brushed.

You worry about cost paying 60quid lol. Hammerite just as good other suitable paint rust protection out there lol.. Got to keep the advertising people happy.

having used both products, i would say that por 15 is the better of the two. por 15 much harder to remove from hands[ i ignored the advice to use gloves]

changed the power steering and alternator belts. to do so i had to change the fitting on the end of the PS hose as it fouled on the chassis.its a Russell Powerflex hose, i should have checked there was enough clearance when it was first fitted.

not today .Sunday cured a poor running problem. misfire at low speed. i suspected an air leak, it was this oil breather/ filler. its made of 3 parts screwed together. it had come loose so i tightened it up with some loctite. could be a pain if it ever needs dismantling. i will worry about that if i ever need to

Thats great you found the problem and made a fix.

Fitted the plastic peice where the t-tops locate. Driver side was broken before, and the passenger one I never had since I brought the car in 2002. Feel great to have a matching pair, and that is something I made.

Are you going ot pain the board? is what colour? did you have a place to put the board on the wall?
You could do with 3D printed hooks to hang the clips on.... lol

that board is scrap going to have long 4" board go along the roller shutter internal metal cover with hooks due so many hose clips as still more to sort out , no room on the internal walls as i have banners up summit racing, pontiac nitros oxide cant remember what the other one is plus all the shelves, and tools, you havnt got enough 3d ink lol,
