40 years old welcome to the club lol,,, no road tax yipeee
get them both motd then every 2 years for peace of mind and keep the insurance company happy as it states car must be in road worthy condition
ok we do work on are cars always go to have second opinion and safety check,
when to event a few weeks ago, the car they car they were driving had no horn (mot fail ) and no wipers working (mot fail ) and this car was driving to the event and back home , what else was wrong with car????
After leaving GoKarting in Gosport last night the exhaust suddenly got loud. I pulled over could see nothing was going to drop off, took that back roads home.
Got it up in the air today, just worked it's way loose from the clamp. Was fiddly getting it in as it's diagonally up, needed to waggle the back box it was putting up a good fight as it was slowly going in 1mm at a time.
Been meaning to put this foam under the tank strap and do up the bolt. It's done now. I have bits coming tomorrow for the TA, really requires the pit. So making the Camaro rollable. Got a compressor to help me get air in the flat tyres.
Attaching the axle on the 91 Camaro. The panhard bar needed some persuasion with a ratchet strap to line up in the hole on the right.
Tyres inflated. Swaybar bushed attached buy not tight yet. Shocks and springs all in place.
Nipped to Screwfix to get some new bolts. M10x40, I had M10x60 and M10x80. Strange it's M10 for a 91 US car. Screws in with fingers all the way. All bottoned up. This evening will get the wheels on, do up sway bar. Take of axle stands. Ready to roll.
But the longer bolts may come in handy for something else another day. Was no trouble to nip out and get a pack of 10. An excuse to nip out in the TA with the roof off showing the new interior.
