More rubbing down and polishing today.
Other events are that the wipers now function as intended thanks to more new parts from Rock auto

Hard labour to start, wet n dry with soapy water then the equivalent to WD40 various grades of paper used.Then polishing wheels on drill.

!st coat of silver grey painted in the wheel inserts,impressed so far with this part of the project...Now to make the other 3 wheels look the same

225/70 or 235/70

245/60. Fills the wheel wells better and from memory is close enough to the stock 225/70 not to affect speedo readings.

Managed to get my DIY chores done quickly today so did a bit more filling and shaping on the Firebird. Still another application needed but this should be the last panel before the main paint..

Thanks Dave. Yeah, I'll try to post something on here every time I get to work on it. It definitely helps. You know how it is trying to find time, life gets in the way lol
