Was just thinking about this and I recall that the light was so inefficiently made and consumed so much power that the car was often plugged into the mains when they were showing the light!
I went into office to collect some more work and then popped to supermarket - like you say they don’t say what type of car you have to use so it had to be done - roof down too
Changed the oil. Although only got 5100 miles on the clock and whilst being 12 years old we believe the filter was original. So not sure if oil change has ever been done before
For some reason when the car came over here and the lights were converted there was no reversing light so fitted one.
Refitted a sticker under the engine bay that had come off.
Refitted two letters of the word “Solstice” on the back as had to take them off when had stripes redone
Just moved the Firebird out into the Sun to help harden the paint...and to have a damn good sort out in the garage and find all of the parts... anyone any good at jigsaw puzzles?
Been doing tiling in the kitchen. Managed to get an hour under the car admiring the bits and adjusting the length of the LCAs so it's now 487.5mm from the center of the bolt on the body to the center of the axle with wheels off the ground. There was about 3mm difference. Original length was set by the stock length LCAs.
Off for my weekend walk in a bit.
