Front seat's all done now had to do some repair work on spring's and re thread/die the side bolts as all rusted up and grease up the runners and fit new E-clipsto side pin's on recliner arms,
Got the new carpet to fit before i re-fit the seat's then just little odd jobs (all ways little jobs to do )and general on going repairs tinker with rear brakes as respray won't be until next year unless i part ex it,
but here's the rest of seat pictures,
Thanks, slow but sure lack of space and weather dosn't help but had the week off so managed to get all the seat's done very pleased how they turned out
Thanks , Very pleased with them and so comfortable as well . might do a bit more today put the electric window switch back in and fit radio back in properly just have see ,
Well no Saleen work bench needed today . Put door card's back on and took it for a run. well it did play up a little bit i know it needs a good run as been off the road since feb, but it kept stalling we thing it's something to do with the auto box/carb set up ?????? drive brillentley stops really good had the T.Tops off better than a normal convertable/ragtop. hock's up the rear wheels really well.
Door card's back on and rear speaker's fitted found the passenger window motor drawing to much current and taken out the switch contacts so have new switch to replace it but have to order new window motor . another small job to add to the list
2K on a new carb set up never, 2k can go toward's the paint job and via jeg's or summit re-con,,rebuld Q.jet rochester about £400 by the time it get's here you just like spending my money lol, Go back to reading your book's lol,
But its not just a carb. Its modern electronic fuel injection!!
Unfortunately it doesn't stop with the part above, you need a higher pressure fuel system (electric pump) and a wideband O2 sensor in the exhaust.
But it is self tuning and self learning!!
Just wish I had the money
