Helper has been on Faceache most of the day.
Made some good progress. All 4 sides of panelling pretty much done. Need to go to point at the front, and make a door.
Now to make the door, but I need to nip out to drop off some club clothing. Also to pick up coach bolts from screwfix for door hinges and lock.
Popping out this afternoon, and then on to see mum and walk aunties dogs. So only have a short time to make the door.
Well it has been pretty dark. I did do some electrics last night. Wired up one LED light and got the fuse box on the wall temporary. It will sit on top of the tounge and groove on the inner walls, but I cant sort out the insulation and inner walls without light, so started on the electrics.
Still need to finish the door, but need more wood, they open 9am till 5pm, so cant get there in them hours until Friday.
I'm sure someone will comment. It will look better once complete.
Done quite a bit at the weekend. Fetched more wood on Friday, and this it to do under the overhang on the outside, and to make the ends of the shed look smart. It's all coming together.
lol, I did consider solar panels. Keeping it separate from the house, just charging up a 12V car battery and I run an inverter from that, and can switch back to normal mains manually. Maybe something for the future.
Well its Friday, I have a day off from work, so going to work on the shed for a few hours, as off about mid day to paint mothers room. I'll post some updates later.
Added more wood to the shed, the top of the door done now. Plug added wood to above the door. I know you are goind to say, 'isn't that messy?' well I didn't start getting close to the edge, and though why do i need to be soo careful... I'm adding panelling 3 inches from the roof, so effectively that panelling above the door wont be seen as 3inces will be hidden.
A few more updated photos. Outside pretty much complete. Will add a recess in the front overhang for 4 downlights. Added 2 to the sides.
More photos to come.
