Wanting to get more time on it. But work been busy in evening and weekends, have Friday's off but went to a meeting in Southampton for more PCB design work.
Then seeing mother to try and cheer her up, it was nice to spend an hour on the shed, I just don't get much free time these days.
Well yesterday made good progress, full insulated the window side, run in port cables, and added socket boxes. Even managed to get some sockets on.
Two of the double sockets have USB power outputs, these will be above the work desk height. One double socket for under the work desk for a plug in radiator. The top right rocket will be housed in a cupboard with the distribution box. Always handy to have a power outlet in a cupboard, who knows what I may need it for in future, perhaps a battery charger, or network devices etc.. I think 10 sockets in total should be enough though. lol.
Not many more progress updates on the shed. At the weekend I used more tongue and groove to complete the ceiling. Starting to look like a swedish sauna, just need the girls. lol.
Starting to build a frame now for a cupboard just to the right of the door. There will also be a cupboard on the left too, shelves etc... Enjoying doing it all.
Started more digging over the weekend. I have 10 railway sleepers I wish to lay down to make a raised flower bed. This will encase all the dirt taken out for the shed base. It will be 4.8m x 2.4m, being higher at the back than the front. Originally gonna do two sleepers high at the back and one at the front. However may need to take it up another level. Been digging to atleast get the first level in level. Its coming along okay, no photos yet though.
Well brought the Trans-Am into work today, ready to get some wood from the timber merchant. I know I can get 2.6meter long bits of wood in there, so very handy for the length. Wanting to get more wood to build shelves. Hoping to get some time on this on Saturday. Photos to come.
Was going to buy the 4.8meter lengths and cut in half, they only had 4.2meters. Cutting this in half to 2.1meters will work fine for the shed. So got 16 lengths of it. Fits perfectly into the car and load of room spare.
Managed to get a few more hours on the shed. So posting an update.
A shelft for the push bike so I have storage room underneath it. Plenty of shelves on the left for creosote barrels, paint pots. Really please with the way its coming along.

got in from the how in Petersfield, uploaded photos and then 'wanted' well 'knowingly needed' to and its a good time as its been dry for many days to creosote the shed ready for the winter. Well just near the lock of the shed this dude was woken up, dam did it move fast after this photo. If that shifted towards me, I may have been seen running around the garden screaming like a little girl. I was trying to be brave to get a photos for the forum.
These webs were behind the shed at head height, not a huge amount of room behind the shed, enough get get around with a paint brush and cot the shed, so these webs were very close.
Getting darker, a nice coast over the coat that was done as i was assembling it. took around 2 hours to do.
A nice colour, and nice smell, some 10W30 and 5W30 in the mix with the creosote to extend the contents of the creosote barrel.
