Finish the Z28 Hood and paint, order outer window seals, finish off paint in door shuts and decide if i want to colour the wheel inserts grey or have full polished effect,,,then spend the summer looking at it as i don't see much changing for the better ATM
I flushed the cooling systems of the Firebird and Mini, then filled with anti freeze mix for protection to -18. I couldn't run them to get the thermostats open (they are both in the garage with little ventilation and the Firebird has no carburettor at the moment), so I removed both stats for the flush and refill.
I will re fit them at the end of winter.
I resumed the Holley rebuild now I have all the right parts, but had to stop as I got a visual migraine and couldn't see what the f*ck I was doing lol. I will carry on tomorrow...
Started up and ran it until warm. Also played a track from an album I’m enjoying and boy did it sound good on the car stereo. Looking forward to driving to that!!

The Firebird's Holley went back together OK. It just needs a secondary vacuum diaphragm, the old one looks a bit sh#gged! lol. They aren't included in the rebuild kit.
The new vacuum diaphragm has arrived. I'll fit it later. The supplying company is called Walker Products. I hadn't heard of them before and found them via eBay. They are US based with a depot here. It seems they specialise in fuel delivery parts, ingition parts and sensors. Paul there has been so helpful and the prices seem competitive too.
