What have you done to your vehicle today?

Well dropped it off yesterday for the work to start image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Interesting stuff. What does the gadget do? measure paint thickness or shine or something else?

Clear coat thickness. This guy is also at the forefront of self healing paint which has to be seen to believe!! Amazing stuff he is also going to be one of a hand full of places over here which will have a US backed product which put liquid clear coat back on the car which out having to go to a spray shop more on this to follow.i thought this guy was going to be mega mega bucks to have work done. But it turns out not that bad I'm having his silver detail which he aims for 80percent paint correction per panel!! Loss of car for upto 10 days £375 for the correction then if you wish you can have a glass coat applied for extra which will help the protect the paint work for upto 10yrs.i got in on his June deal which was both for £400

Price sounds very good indeed.

Stripped and rebuilt the carb only to be stumped by the wrong spacer to manifold gasket supplied!

GRRRRRR!

Oh no :(

Guess I'll have to make a gasket myself, off to Pro Parts on Monday as can't find the right one on line.

Polished the mustang after Sunday's show trying out some new harly wax!!! Seems very good nice deep shine and not very expensive at £21 inc postage

Sidewards I hope!!!!. Still it might need a wash and clean now lol

Drove mine to work today. Still got the gazebo in it that we used at Beaulieu. Not unpacked as went on holiday soon after. Must do that tonight as taking a friends daughter to her prom tomorrow night.

Where did you go? Anywhere nice?

Disney Paris. A great holiday, loads of walking. Good exercise. It was very hot, like being in the South of Spain. Went on plenty of the tides, the Tower of Terror was pretty gut wrenching as they take you up 13 floors, then an accelerated drop you feel weightless with only a lap belt holding you in. I held the handles so tight I thought they would come off in my hands.
Also went on the tea cups. We were with friends and they had kids, we were trying to get them to spin as fast as possible, our heads became heavy pushing us back, the kids really enjoyed it. Will certainly do it again. Next year is 25th Anniversary of Euro Disney, so we will go the year after instead.

We did the tower of terror in Florida in 1998. Fantastic fun!
Yes, identical design I believe. Great fun. The friend that convinced us to give it ago was shaking at the end of it, he wouldn't go on it again. lol

I loved it. Did it go to the top twice on yours?

Replaced it!!
Yes, the trusty Chevy that has done all the hauling, commuting & daily work has been retired at 189082 miles.

It was traded on a Kia Cee'd estate, 1.6 diesel. The Kia has done less than 8000 miles and really was owned by a little old disabled lady! Comes with full Kia service history, and drives like new.

Thank you to the trusty Chevy for all those miles, :tea:
Let's hope the Kia will do as well.

That's low miles in 4 years. Good buy.

Fitted the rebuilt carb now I have the correct gasket, ran it up, tinkered a little and pleased to say it runs rather well!
