What have you done to your vehicle today?

That's is a nice looking conversion you done, looks far better in the proper cluster.

Took T/A fir MOT, it passed with a couple of advisories, shocks have some corrosion. They are around 10years old. Also lower control arm, and rear tailing arm bushes. So nothing major.

Time for for some new tubular Lower control arms from UMI with poly bushings and a set lower control arm relocation brackets to bring the angle back as you are lowered.

28mpg thats good. Are the new bulbs led? Or have/you get spare

I have been thinking along those lines. I have a BMR strut brace, withing a few years the powder coating had flaked off and got very rusty. I would be concerned being that low to the ground how bad it would get in a short time. Of course I would keep an eye on it, chip off loose paint and use that awesome stuff I used on the rear end.

The UMI LCA’s on my old 4th gen lasted really well and if you add LCA relocation brackets, you will counter wheel hop caused by the fact you are lowered.
My 4th gen handled as well as my C5Z06 which had IRS. I know how to make 4th gen handle!

Sounds like i need to get some funds up together. I guess I have a couple of options, replace with stock to keep it motoring and save up for better handling stuff.
I need to replace shocks and complete front lower control arms and rear trailing arm bushes at least. The rear trailing arm bushes i probably have in my poly kit.
What I would like to do is change shocks, springs(not quite a low), complete k-member, handling mods for the rear, but its gonna stretch into thousands.

Forget the k-member. Not needed.
Spend the money on roto joints instead of poly.
I can set you up shopping list - you’ll think your driving a go-kart!!

Thanks, shopping list will be great, then its a target I can try to scrape together, and get it done over the next 6 months or so.
I will need new shocks I was quite happy with Koni adjustable, perhaps get the same again?

Dan,

You're shopping list is on your PM's.
Do that lot and you will corner faster than you (or anyone else) would believe possible of a solid axle 4th gens f-body.

Taxing mustang today
Turning truck around in garage taking trans am of ramp and having a tidy up in garage been a bit busy lately.

Gave the Challenger a wash. It needed it after my wet run to Manchester a few week back and I haven't touched it since.
Wasn't a full wash/wax and detail so not my usual standards, just a clean to get the crap off. MOT next week, and then Herts Auto show on Sunday.
Interestingly, whilst eating a bowl of cornflakes this morning I was just considering the day ahead and thought to myself its getting close to the Challenger oil change time..... Then jumped in the car to back it out the garage and the dash lights up and prompts me to change the oil!!! Surely the Challenger can't read my mind?!
Fortunately I have two genuine Mopar oil filters and the correct oil in the garage just waiting for the right time.

Washed it again! My daily was at the dealers for a service and they had to keep it longer than planned which meant I took the Challenger to work on Thursday. I found a nice big safe spot but it was under a tree that dropped sap on it, so another clean was required before Herts tomorrow.
Then I started wrenching on the van again!

clean my mine ready for tomorrow prop be dirty by the time we get there not cleaning it again,

Picture to prove :)
