What have you done to your vehicle today?

Took the 69 out for a spin today, first time since last year. My battery held charge since then also!

Ripped out the carpet in the garage and laid lovely new flooring. Didn’t quite have enough to completely finish it so have to buy some more ;)

That flooring looks good.

Got some new boots for the car yesterday, my aim is to get them fitted before May also the wheel bearing.

Tyres? You are still running the original16” wheels aren’t you?
So is that 245/50 ? If so which brand and where from?

Standard is 17inch on mine, not sure if that because of the Trans-Am model or the WS6 package? They are 275/40/17. Went for 168mph speed rating this time as not expecting to go over that. The make I went for is Nankang, okay they may sound cheap, but they perform like Falken's or Avon ZZ1's that i have used both front and rear. Gave the Nankangs a corner test in the wet expecting to slide out around the roundabout, but they held, so I'm more than happy with the traction in the dry and wet.

Nankang Ultra Sport NS-2 275/40 ZR17 98W with rim protection (MFS) - mytyres.co.uk

I ordered 2, they came DHL from Germany free shipping, cant see how they can make a profit, but I'm happy with the savings. Prices seems to change throughout the year, could't get them for less than £100 not too long ago, so settled on 255 wide for around £80 each.

Just re-read your post and you say you settled for 255 wide?
Does that mean you are running 255/40x17? Or am I misreading that?

I have just brought 275's for the rear and should really have 275 up front, but settled for 255/45/17's at the time(a year or so ago) I brought them due to cost. I like to keep some spare tires in case I cant get them at a good price when I need them, so they are stored in the spare bedroom. Do they have about a 5 year storage life?I read something like that somewhere, I'm sure I'll use them before they expire.

I’m surprised you haven’t tripped the ABS computer.
The front tyres have a height of 26.04” whilst the rears have a height of 25.66”
It’s not huge but the rear tyres are effectively rotating faster than the fronts.
Either the ABS computer is not very sensitive or doesn’t work?

Oh and tyres should be replaced at 6 years old irrespective of wear.
That’s according to both my Tyre guy and some reading I have done.

Should have added that if anyone wants contact details to to let me know.
First class service. Left him to get on with it whilst we found somewhere to get breakfast (early start) and it was done an hour later. Reasonable cost too. Highly recommended.

so you had those small striaght line led to start with now have the bright indeicatoer in main cluster looks much better so what happed to the old stuff videos not to clear
going to give guide on what it cost? thats fuel and breakfast as well lol,,,

Yes. Many Challengers were converted that way. Legal but barely.
The old LED strips are removed. He orders special bulbs and makes a wiring harness. Runs a couple of additional wires and adds a new bulb holder. Cost to me was £150 plus £100 petrol and £20 breakfast.
But the conversation cost varies from vehicle to vehicle and mine should have cost a little more but price was agreed when booked a few months back.

I’ve over estimated petrol and breakfast but you get the idea!
The challenger returned a steady 28mpg too.
